Luddite is a turn-based campaign game seamlessly integrated with a graphic novel, supported by over 1,400 Kickstarter backers. Set in Yurushi, Earth’s largest metropolis, you play as a young engineer recently laid off by the powerful Niven Megacorporation. Forced to return to the Saitama Slums, a desolate area filled with the “useless class” left jobless by AI-driven automata, you join a growing resistance led by the determined Red Ludd. This group a known as the Luddites, is fighting back against the corporations responsible for mass unemployment.
Using your engineering expertise, you and your team will hack and disable these automata, seeking revenge for those discarded by society. However, the corporations won’t take this sabotage lightly and getting caught means facing harsh consequences. Every mission is a race against time as you work to cripple AI systems before their countermeasures kick in, blending strategy with risk-taking in an intense push-your-luck gameplay style.
