Overview of Presidential Beatdown:
In Presidential Beatdown, players can settle political differences through a lighthearted, local 2D fighting game where super-powered presidents battle for victory. The game playfully portrays presidents and historical figures in a fictional, humorous way. Currently, the game offers three characters: Trump, Obama and Washington, each with unique with abilities inspired by their historical personas. Trump uses a powerful lance, Obama fights with a “Change” toolkit and Washington wields a battle axe. Players can use “Executive Orders” – special moves like space weapons or healing abilities – in iconic American settings, from Mount Rushmore to the Oval Office.
The game is a still in development, with plans for new the character packs like Lincoln, JFK and Franklin. There’s even the possibility of guest characters like Musk and Einstein. Battles earn players experience points (XP) to unlock cosmetics and level up their profiles, with more game modes planned, including 3-on-3 and tournament-style play. There’s also a potential story mode where the presidents join forces to take on a returning villain, but this may not be completed due to the focus on another main project. Presidential Beatdown can be a played on Valve’s Steam Deck console and players can enjoy the game solo or with a friend. Eternal Studios welcomes for players in support to continue expanding this project.
