Overview of Sker Ritual:
Sker Ritual is an intense, round-based zombie shooter developed by indie studio Wales Interactive. You can play solo or team up with up to 4 players online to battle endless waves of the Quiet Ones, solve mysteries, uncover Easter Eggs, and upgrade unique steampunk weapons. Plus, you will collect Miracles special powers tied to Celtic gods that give you powerful abilities.
The story is set in 1914, where Elisabeth Williams controls Sker Island, spreading the Siren’s Song to dominate the world. Her daughter, Arianwen, has awakened you to help stop the broadcast and prevent a descent into darkness. While not a direct sequel, Sker Ritual builds on the lore from *Maid of Sker*, taking players into an FPS horror spin-off. The game includes optional objectives, hidden surprises, supercharged “Elite” enemies with unique abilities and to even unlockable rewards like Dread Levels and Sker Pass.
Enemies on Sker Island are relentless with both returning and new foes, some with special abilities that force you to adapt your strategy. As you defeat enemies, you can collect powerful Miracle drops, each tied to Celtic gods, which boost your attacks, grenades or healing abilities. Customize your experience further by equipping horror-inspired masks, taunting teammates with unique voice lines, and gearing up at The Laughing Policeman’s booth, where you can buy or gamble for weapon upgrades and steampunk enhancements.
